H. Aroeppala Airport is a domestic regional airport serving the Selayar Islands in South Sulawesi, Indonesia. The airport is named after Haji Aroeppala, a Selayarese politician and bureaucrat who served as Mayor of Makassar from 1960 to 1965. It is located in Bontoharu District, approximately 7 km from Benteng, the administrative seat of the Selayar Islands Regency. The airport serves as the main gateway by air to the Selayar Islands and surrounding areas, as well as the nearby Taka Bonerate National Park. As of 2026, flight services at the airport remain very limited, with only one airline, FlyJaya, operating scheduled flights to Makassar, the provincial capital of South Sulawesi. In the past, the airport was also served by airlines such as Aviastar, Citilink, Garuda Indonesia and Wings Air, all of which have since discontinued their services to Selayar.
