Bentota Bridge
The Bentota Bridge refers to a series of parallel bridge structures that cross the Bentota River in Sri Lanka. Located on the Galle Road and the Coastal Railway Line, the bridge marks the border between the Western Province and the Southern Province. The crossing consists of three bridges side-by-side: a modern multi-lane concrete road bridge, a railway bridge, and a historic 120-year-old iron bridge built during the British colonial era.
