Kayts, is a village on Velanai Island, off the Jaffna Peninsula in northern Sri Lanka. There are a number of other villages on the island such as Allaippiddi, Mankumpan, Velanai, Saravanai, Puliyankoodal, Suruvil, Naranthanai, Karampon and Melinchimunai.
