Circuit Zandvoort
The Circuit Zandvoort, known for sponsorship reasons as the Mascot Circuit Zandvoort, previously known as the Circuit Park Zandvoort until 2017, is a 4.259 km (2.646 mi) motorsport race track located in the dunes north of Zandvoort, Netherlands, near the North Sea coast line and 35 km (22 mi) west of Amsterdam. It returned to the Formula One calendar in 2021 as the location of the revived Dutch Grand Prix. This partnership with Formula One ended in 2026. The circuit has been named as the "Mascot Circuit Zandvoort" for at least three years since July 2025. It is popularly referred to as The Roller coaster in the Dunes by Formula One racing fans. This iconic nickname was given for the track's unique characteristics, where the track winds and rises and falls through the coastal dunes of the North Sea. The combination of extreme banked corners—such as Tarzan and Hugenholtz—and rapid elevation changes give racers a thrilling rollercoaster ride.
