Read this as a fun page, not a forecast. Astrology is culture — thousands of years of sky-watching and pattern-making — not science: nothing on these pages claims the stars predict anything. What is factual here — the constellations, the myths, the calendar history and the precession that moved the signs off their own stars — is stated as fact.
Praise you give without being asked is the one kind that gets remembered. Hand some out.
Chosen by a fixed rule: the day number and the sign’s position pick one line from this page’s hand-written pool — the same line for every visitor all day, and no claim behind it beyond a bit of wordplay.

Temperament — as tradition describes it
Two thousand years of astrology literature consistently paints the leo temperament as warm, presentational, loyal by lineage. That is what the tradition says, which is a fact about the tradition — not a finding about anyone born under it.
The constellation and the myth
The Lion is Nemean, the peltless hero-slaying puzzle of the first labour, set among the stars as a trophy. Its heart is Regulus — “little king,” a star the Persians counted among the sky’s four royal watchers — and its back arcs through the Sickle, a question mark of stars that sailors used as the weather-clock of high summer.
Compatibility — the traditional pattern
Astrology’s old rulebook pairs Fires together: Leo is traditionally easiest with ♈ Aries and ♐ Sagittarius, and most magnetically opposed to ♒ Aquarius, six signs away across the wheel. None of it has ever survived a controlled test; as folklore about how the ancients ordered their sky, it is genuinely interesting.
