🐂 ♉ Taurus

Read this as a fun page, not a forecast. Astrology is culture — thousands of years of sky-watching and pattern-making — not science: nothing on these pages claims the stars predict anything. What is factual here — the constellations, the myths, the calendar history and the precession that moved the signs off their own stars — is stated as fact.
A comfort you have been treating as a luxury turns out to be load-bearing. Provide it officially.
Chosen by a fixed rule: the day number and the sign’s position pick one line from this page’s hand-written pool — the same line for every visitor all day, and no claim behind it beyond a bit of wordplay.

Temperament — as tradition describes it
Two thousand years of astrology literature consistently paints the taurus temperament as steady, sensory, slow to move, hard to stop. That is what the tradition says, which is a fact about the tradition — not a finding about anyone born under it.
The constellation and the myth
The Bull is one of the oldest constellations humans named — cattle on cave walls at Lascaux likely show it with the Pleiades ~17,000 years ago. Its two showpieces are the red giant Aldebaran (“the Follower,” trailing the Pleiades star cluster) and the Crab Nebula, the exploded star the Chinese recorded watching in 1054.
Compatibility — the traditional pattern
Astrology’s old rulebook pairs Earths together: Taurus is traditionally easiest with ♍ Virgo and ♑ Capricorn, and most magnetically opposed to ♏ Scorpius, six signs away across the wheel. None of it has ever survived a controlled test; as folklore about how the ancients ordered their sky, it is genuinely interesting.
