The hard half of re-casing is splitting: this page breaks on spaces and punctuation, on lowercase-to-uppercase humps (requestId → request + Id) and on acronym runs (HTTPServer → HTTP + Server) — the same two regexes ESLint and Prettier plugins use. Once the word list is right, every convention is just a different join.

Why HTTPServer and requestId split differently

A hump is a lowercase letter followed by an uppercase one — that is the (lower)(UPPER) boundary. An acronym is an uppercase run followed by a capital-and-lowercase pair, so the last capital belongs to the next word: HTTPServer splits before "Server", getUserID splits after "get" and leaves "UserID", which a second pass on the acronym rule does not break further because "ID" has no lowercase tail. Every convention in the table is then just lowercasing, capitalising and choosing a separator — dot, slash, underscore, hyphen or space.
