Tukuk-OS🗂 Flashcards
ℹ️ What this tool does & how it works
Retrieval beats re-reading: a fact you try to answer and then check sticks far better than the same fact read fifty times. This maker turns plain text — front | back, one card per line — into a deck that shuffles, flips and keeps a knew-it tally, entirely in your browser.
Why "show it again later" is the whole trick
Two effects carry flashcards: testing yourself before you look (retrieval practice) and bringing the misses back sooner than the easy ones (spacing). The ✗ button queues the card to the back of the deck so it returns while the slip is still fresh; the ✓ lets a known fact ride. What this page deliberately is not: a long-term scheduler. That needs a server that remembers you between visits, and everything here forgets the deck the moment the tab closes — which is also why you can keep using it for free.
