🎯 Word Guess

ℹ️ What this tool does & how it works
The same game every teacher runs on the whiteboard, with the rope-and-stick part removed: a hidden word from a themed bank, twenty-six letter keys that grey out once used, six lives, and a win-loss tally that keeps the class honest about the streak. Every word in the banks is lowercase, singular and unhyphenated.
Why letter frequency is a real strategy
E, T, A, O, I, N — in English text the eight most common letters cover roughly two thirds of all occurrences, which is why the player who opens with them wins more than the one hunting for favourite letters. Against this game's banks the same advice holds with one tweak: every word is lowercase, singular and unhyphenated, so vowels-first openings are almost always right, and a first guess of Q or Z is a life spent shopping.
