🗒 Essay Planner
ℹ️ What this tool does & how it works
Most essays fail before the first sentence is written: the writer sits down with an opinion but no architecture. This planner takes the topic and the three reasons you would give in the corridor, and returns the paragraph-by-paragraph skeleton — what each paragraph must do, with the evidence slots left open for you to fill. Print it, or keep it open beside the draft.
Why the introduction gets written last
Markers read thousands of openings that promise everything and say nothing — since the dawn of time, people have debated… The introduction written after the body is different: it can announce the actual argument in the first sentence because the writer now knows what it is. The plan above keeps the slot for the hook but builds the thesis from your own three points, so re-writing it later costs one sentence, not a paragraph.
